  • Basin Dream Center - Transitional living program to end youth homelessness and emergency youth shelter.
  • CASA- Advocating in court and in the community for the best interest of children in the child welfare system.
  • Kids First- A supervised visitation program that provides a safe, conflict-free, low-stress space for kids to build and maintain a bond with and attachment to their noncustodial parents.
  • Harmony Home Children Advocacy Center- Free services to child abuse victims and their families.
  • 311 Ministries- Economically disadvantaged children.
  • Young Life - Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.​
  • Boys and Girls Club- Helping young people become productive, caring and responsible citizens.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters- On-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
  • Be The Change- Inspires students to be the positive change in their lives and the lives of others.
  • Midland Teen Court- Provides educated guidance through the justice system for teens.
  • First Tee- Building Game Changers by empowering kids and teens through golf.
  • High Sky Children's Ranch -Healing abused children and promoting family wholeness.
  • One Accord - Ensures the safety and well-being of the vulnerable children in West Texas.
  • Opportunity Tribe - Mentoring and youth development.
  • Pink the Basin -To increase breast cancer awareness and detection by providing education and resources for the Permian Basin Community.
  • The Recording Library - Provides audio to those who are blind, low-vision, homebound seniors, and print-impaired.
  • Mission Agape- Addresses the challenges of food insecurity that effects Midland and surrounding counties.
  • West Texas Food Bank - Non-governmental hunger relief organization.

Animals

  • Grand Companions - No kill facility to save, honor and connect homeless pets.
  • Fix West Texas - Increasing the quality of life for the pets.
  • Animal Services - Ensuring public health and protecting animal welfare.
  • Starlight Therapeutic Riding Center - Improve the mental wellness, physical ability, behavior, and cognitive skills of people living with disabilities in partnership with the horse.
  • H.O.R.S.E - Helping Our Riders Succeed in Education (H.O.R.S.E). Helping those who have learning impairments, are physically or mentally challenged, “at risk” youth, or those who need the help of caring individuals with the aid of horses.
  • Animal Humane Coalition - Rescue cats & dogs at risk of euthanasia.
  • Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals - Providing loving care for homeless and abused dogs and cats until we can find them permanent, stable homes. No-Kill facility.
  • Whiskers & Tails- Rescue animals that are abused, neglected, and homeless, or in danger of being euthanized at area shelters. 

Leadership Development Programs

  • Generations - Teaches willing candidates how to be informed, committed leaders on nonprofit boards by providing adequate oversight of administration in nonprofit governance. $500 or employer sponsorship.
  • Project Blueprint - Preparing and supporting emerging leaders from underrepresented backgrounds with the knowledge and tools needed for effective board service. $25.
  • Midland 101 - To familiarize citizens with the structure, function, and purpose of Midland City government, and to equip and encourage them to assume a leadership role in the community. Free.
  • Leadership Midland - A one-year program, offering first-rate community education preparing and empowering emerging leaders with community knowledge and connections. $1,500 for a year or employer sponsorship.
  • L.E.A.D (Learn, Empower, Apply, Develop) - To equip emerging leaders with the essential communication, influence and self-discovery skills necessary to amplify their leadership presence and effectively lead teams and initiatives. $2,000 for the year. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
  • Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certification (NELC) - To equip individuals seeking a role in nonprofit management with the skills needed to be successful. $750.
  • Fund Academy - Two day course, to equip you with practical tools and insight to grow your skills in nonprofit fund development. $300.
