In memory of Soraye’s mother, who passed away a year ago. She was a domestic violence survivor who embodied strength, resilience, and grace throughout her life. The multiple colors in this necklace represent the light and love she shared with everyone around her.
The “Mama” Necklace is handcrafted by survivors of human trafficking. Each piece provides approximately 45 minutes of dignified work for an artisan. Through the jewelry-making program, these women receive training and the opportunity to pursue careers they are passionate about and proud of. They gain valuable skills in computer literacy, health, math, and life skills, with the option to earn certifications in Microsoft Word and Excel.
